The People’s March for Europe welcomes every one of all abilities. We will be setting up a starting area in Trafalgar Square for anyone who has mobility issues and cannot do the full march. We will also endeavour to create a safe path along the side of the march for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. We have limited space at the front of the stage for wheelchairs, however, we will endeavour to create more space at the front of the crowd if needed.

Unable to Attend?

Would you like to support the march but are unable to attend in person due to disability, caring commitments or other reasons? Consider sending a friend in your place, or share your message to print on a placard for one of the marchers to hold on your behalf. This way, for every marcher holding a placard for someone who is unable to attend in person, you can still add your voice to the numbers.

Are you someone who could help by printing off messages from those unable to attend, and distribute them at the start of the march to people to carry? Please contact us via our contact form.

Suggested template: I’m marching for two. This sign stands for someone who can’t be here today in person.

Optional Text: I can’t march today because the government took away my DLA/PIP mobility component. Europe protects the rights of disabled people like myself.
